Harvest report
So, this year’s harvest, just like the last 5 or so years, was mostly depending on quality to make up for the very small quantity. The parents and I don’t associate much with my peripheral family, so I only get 2-3 gifts each year, depending on how many my parents decide to buy. Fortunately, they rocked.
From the granny: Batman Begins 2-Disc Special Edition (which I suspect of being the only edition).
From the parents: A year’s subscription for PC Gamer UK ![]()
From… the cats: Civilization 4.
What can I say, my cats are very thoughtful. Beats me where the Hell they get the money, but some things are best left uninvestigated. At any rate, Civilization 4 was the one game on my wish list which I have the least immediate desire to play. That doesn’t mean I’m unhappy with it though, I’m quite sure it’s the most durable game on the list as well. I expect I may just play it once in a while for the next 2-3 years, it seems like that kind of game. I’m still going to order Age of Empires 3 and Fable from Play.com right away though. Because I crave these games.
I hope to finish Beyond Good & Evil tomorrow so I can get started on Civilization 4 right away, and so I have enough time for Fable and AoE3 when they arrive. I’ll probably post another one of those reviews I just know you all love so much. You wouldn’t believe the amount of fan mail I’ve received about the immense insight my reviews provide. *Coughs*
And to finish off the post… a picture of a cat attacking a christmas tree:
