The To-Play List

I recently made the horrible mistake of picking up the December issue of PC Gamer UK. It’s a great magazine, lots of good articles and mostly very amusingly written. Plus I kinda know Kieron Gillen, a reviewer of some repute within the business of games journalism. Anyway, this purchase has resulted in a 200% increase in the length of my list of must-play games. This is not a problem in terms of monays™, my good friend Casper recently directed me towards Play.com which apparently delivers very cheap games to Denmark without charging for delivery or taxes O_o

The problem is time. Oh dear, the time. I don’t play a lot of games, I prefer creating them (and thinking about creating them) and reading about them. But I must play these games lest I may never again rest easy. Well okay, that’s probably an exaggeration, but the point remains. It will at the very least be difficult for me to maintain my ambition to join the games industry if I don’t keep myself well supplied with external inspiration. Since humans are reputedly incapable of inventing entirely new things, I figure it would be beneficial to create as broad a source of inspiration as possible for oneself. Here’s my list, irrelevant as it may be to you:
