That was FUN! The thing that snagged me on a moment of thought was switching the trees with the house – I had just assumed the boat was the last thing, but then there’s an old guy! Hehe. Also would have been helpful if I had scrolled down and read “You will complete the game when all panels’ level is max,” before playing it. I went in thinking there was some significance to having them at certain levels, rather than just maxed. Also, WTF is up with the blue tree? What’s the hell’s it there for? Funny game.
Hahah I thought the utter lack of explanation was part of the allure. The first three or four attempts just went with figuring out what the game was all about, then I could actually start trying to complete it. It reminded me of Half-Life or Myst with their determination not to explain anything (as I’ve mentioned before I never got a manual with Half-Life, and the Myst manual said nothing).
You may also enjoy this, Smike. It’s very similar to Grow RPG but without the familiar context, making it even more confusing until you figure it out.
Narcissism Inc. is the mostly game-related blog of Jonas Wæver, Creative Director of independent game development studio Logic Artists and recent MSc graduate from the Game Design programme at the IT University of Copenhagen. Curriculum Vitae (PDF). Portfolio.

Oh, right, I’m sorry, IT PRODUCES BOMBS. Yeah. What WAS I thinking – large blue trees always produce small red bombs.

Yeah I went through all of them after the RPG. Fun! But weird. Very Japanese. My favorite moment was “Dracula” on Version 1 – W. T. F.
And that says nothing of the “Bear Train.” ??? ! O_o
CUBE was the best after RPG.
[Version 3 was stupid.]
