Cursed luck!
After being held in customs for nearly a month, Mass Effect finally arrives at my door with a whopping big customs fee of almost as much money as I paid for the game in the first place. I ended up saving a bit under 50 kr. ($10 USD / £5 GBP), or about 10% of the price I’d have paid if I’d bought it in Denmark, which in my opinion did not justify getting the game almost a month and a half after it was released. To really rub salt in the gaping, gushing wound left by this complete fiasco, I can’t play the game before my paper is done some time (probably very, very late) on January 1, lest I’ll miss my deadline and 15 of the 120 ECTS necessary to take my Bachelor exam), so for the next 4 or 5 days it will just sit there on my shelf and serve as another monumental temptation I’ll have to overcome. Needless to say I am done importing games from outside of the European Union.
